Do I have to Get Medicare Plan B If I’m Still Working?: Ask Medicare Bob

One of the most common queries regarding Medicare is whether someone has health insurance or some sort of employee coverage needs to register for Medicare Part B. Insurance expert and adviser Robert Bache explains.
As part of his series of advisory Youtube videos, Medicare Bob (Robert Bache), an expert on Medicare Insurance plans, helps to explain under what circumstances people who already have coverage do NOT need to contribute to Medicare Part B. Simply put, there are two criteria that must be fulfilled in order for the customer to not pay any premium for Medicare Part B: 1. They have to have health care coverage from an employer. 2. That health care coverage is from an active employer, i.e. it must be from their own current job, or from their spouse’s current job. So, for example, if you or your spouse are covered by a retirement plan by your former employer, you would still be eligible for the premium. If you are still unsure about whether you need to pay for Medicare Part B or to know more about Medicare Supplement plans, you can contact Bob directly on his toll free number, 1-855-368-4717. He can also be reached online via his website at www.medicarebob.com or via email at ROBERT@SRHEALTHCAREDIRECT.COM
